  We gave it a three star rating due to room allocation. Although great views of the ocean the room was midew and the couch was extremely dirty with stains.
  
  And the room obviously had issues with the A/C not working in the main room they had a portable A/C that can't be used at night due to the sound it makes. The bed wasn't comfortable at all.
  
  Positives great location good view walking distance to shops, and the staff were very helpful and polite. Pool and surrounding areas was a pleasure to see.

  Enjoyed the rooms and location - quite handy to everything. Our room was clean and comfortable.
  We had a fire alarm in the morning of our stay which meant we all evacuated- can’t be helped- however there was nobody who appeared to be in charge, and nobody to say it was safe to return to our room. Wandered around downstairs in pyjamas for half an hour before returning to room anyway.
  Generally a good stay.

  Our family had a lovely stay at the Ramada Shoal Bay, our 4th time, in January 2021. The apartments, facilities, view and staff are impeccable. The staff are always professional and happy to help. In particular, we found Zach Hall was especially kind, attentive and helpful and we found his service exceptional. We look forward to going back soon.

  Excellent location across from Shoal Bay beach. The spa area is a must for every visit with 3 different spas to choose from ranging from salted cool spa bath, the larger warm spa and the extra hot spa. There's also an indoor swimming (lap) pool & outdoor pool including kiddies pool with water fountain.
